The Cottage is an ideal getaway for a couple or an excellent additional space for large groups who are also renting the Dome. It is designed for and accommodates 2 people. The Cottage shares the 20-acre property with the Dome, but feels very private.

The Cottage, completed in 2009, is architect designed and built by Anderson Valley craftsmen. Many green building strategies were incorporated into the Cottage: it is built from structural integrated panels, it is powered by solar energy, and it features radiant heat, ultra-efficient windows and doors, and on demand hot water. It has a central open kitchen and living/dining area with a fireplace featuring a mantel crafted from a downed Anderson Valley walnut tree. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the bathroom has a shower and soaking tub. You will find wireless internet access, a radio/CD player, TV (does not show any channels) and DVD player, book and CD library, and gas grill. The Cottage is fully supplied with linens, paper products, and food staples.

Three acres of meadow surround the Cottage and provide superlative views. Explore the property containing the Cottage and the Dome and you will find a creek, suspension bridge, gazebo, and orchard.
